During a technical inspection, the folding trailer remains closed. We check the entire chassis, the coupling, the overrun damper, and clean the braking system. Lubrication and adjustments are, of course, included. We also check the tires, lighting, and the kitchen, if applicable. Any replacement or repairs are carried out in consultation with you.

In addition to the checkpoints of the technical inspection, we also open the tent during a major service. We check the tent fabric for irregularities, inspect the seams, zippers, and the frame adjustment. We also check the operation of the gas springs and the WindForce system, if present. Any replacement or repairs are performed in consultation with you.

Yes, this is possible for Cocoons with a drawbar under the awning. Contact us to discuss the options for your trailer.

Once the payment for your order has been received, it will be shipped.

For 14- and 15-inch tires, the recommended pressure is 2.4 bar, and for off-road tires, it is 2.8 bar.

For other tire sizes on older trailers, we recommend contacting Holtkamper or a tire specialist.

Parts can be requested or ordered most easily via the request form on our website. We will contact you as soon as possible regarding the availability of the requested parts.

The legally permitted tow ball pressure for a trailer with a maximum total weight of 750 kg is 75 kg.

The tow ball pressure is the maximum weight that may vertically rest on the tow hitch of your car.

An MTT is a version with an extended chassis. Retrofitting this on a standard Cocoon is not possible.

When delivering a Holtkamper folding trailer, we always provide a workshop where the trailer is set up and explained together with the customer. Setup videos can also be found on our website. (Watch the videos here).

The tent fabric can be rinsed with cold or lukewarm tap water (e.g., using a garden hose or pressure washer) or cleaned dry with a soft brush. **Never** use soap or cleaning agents, as these can damage the water-repellent coating.

Depending on the model and year, it is possible to offer your folding trailer for purchase or sales mediation.

The offered models are usually displayed. To avoid disappointment, we recommend confirming this by phone in advance and scheduling an appointment.

Optionally, it is possible to order a hybrid compressor refrigerator for the Cocoon and Aero. This operates on 12V while driving.
